Are you ready to take your marketing efforts to new heights? Jenni Walke and Kylie Mowbray-Allen are spilling the secrets on how to elevate your strategy for maximum impact.
In this episode of the Bite-Size Business Live Podcast, we highlight three key areas to focus on for marketing strategy to fire in 2023: collecting email addresses, diversifying your social platforms and building relationships and community.
Why just three (3)? Well, who doesn't love a good old-fashioned list of practical tips? Three (3) is a manageable and memorable number that will help you easily remember these key points. So, let's dive in!
Collect email addresses
Email lists are a valuable asset for digital marketers. Unlike social media platforms, you actually own your email list, making it the perfect way to connect with your audience on a more personal level.
Offer a lead magnet in exchange for their email addresses so they are encouraged to sign up. Promote your lead magnet on your Facebook bio, or with a cover that says “Click here for a free resource!”
Include your email address or contact details in your lead magnet, so people can get in touch with you easily. Always focus on the value you’re giving them, and what more value they can expect from you.
Diversify your social platforms
It's important to be active on one or more non-Zuckerberg platforms other than Meta-verse like YouTube, LinkedIn or Pinterest.
If you're already creating reels on Instagram, for example, repurpose the same video for YouTube Shorts. This platform can drive over a million visits to your website.
But first, review your analytics and then test different platforms to see what works best for your audience.
And if you have run out of ideas for content, consider showcasing your behind-the-scenes on your YouTube channel to tap into people's interest, or create and share content about the latest trends in your field such as ChatGPT!
By utilising your existing content on different platforms, you can maximise your exposure and influence!
Build relationships and community
Focus on establishing relationships and creating a community through Facebook group. You might be wondering... what distinguishes a Facebook page from a group?
Well, consider a Facebook group as a more intimate setting, similar to a backyard barbecue, where you can connect with your audience on a personal level. Utilise this platform to promote your online programs, upsells, and remarketing efforts.
Next, expand your email list. Encourage new members to provide their email addresses when joining your Facebook group. This allows you to build your email list and maintain consistent communication with your audience.
Then, ensure that your group is exclusive and constantly evolving by posting thought-provoking questions every Monday.
Remember, the goal is not to have the largest number of followers or members, but to have an engaged and relevant audience. So, take a chance and maximise your marketing efforts today!
