The Pros and Cons of Facebook's New Feature: Creator Studio

Ever since Facebook arrived in the world, it has not stopped evolving. Its looks and features continue to change dramatically. In this blog, let's check out the latest offering from Facebook: Creator Studio.

Creator Studio

Creator Studio is Facebook's built-in scheduling tool that allows you to manage both your Facebook and Instagram accounts. It gives you the option to create and schedule content for both Instagram and Facebook whenever you like. The good thing about it is that, unlike other scheduling tools, Creator Studio is completely free to use. You will not be charged monthly or annually it's FREE!

Aside from that, you can also see all your posts' insights in one place AND you're not getting penalised for scheduling outside of the platform, because you're doing it WITHIN the platform! Exactly where Facebook wants you to be!

Another great new feature is the ability to manage your inboxes; Simple switch to Facebook to check your unread messages, or click on Instagram (within Creator Studio) and respond to your DM's from there. Creator Studio saves you so much time without having to endlessly switch from one platform to another ... so good!!

Creator Studio also allows you to add Stories, upload videos (even multiple videos), post videos across Pages, and go LIVE. You can literally use Creator Studio all day long to manage your accounts and Pages and save so much time!

Want to know the down sides, too? There are a couple ... 😉

  1. Creator Studio only offers Facebook and Instagram. As of now, Facebook has yet to add another platform, but let's just hope for the best. For your other social media accounts, you'll still need to use an external scheduling tool, or manage your accounts manually from within the platforms.
  2. For Instagram, you CAN schedule Stories, but you can't add stickers and all the other cool things that IG Stories offers.
  3. There are other things that it's lacking, but with the introduction of Facebook's Business Suite, it's going to change a LOT over the coming months, so stay tuned as we update you as to the latest platform changes!
